This whisky is a new edition to the Torridon whisky bar. It is a whisky that I have started to appreciate more as I have grown in knowledge. In January when we closed for a month Daniel was on his travels and came across this bottling at the distillery when he was visiting. With the imprint of my last words on his mind ‘I would really like some new whisky’, he kindly kept his word and bought another great malt to add to the growing collection.

This bottling is the first 19 year old Bruichladdich and with a limited bottling of 6000 I am very proud to have it. Matured in bourbon and various wine casks it packs a great punch.

Colleen tasting notes

Nose: smoke, oak, slight sea air
Palate: Peppery, salty, quite aggressive on the palate
Finish: This is a short finish.

As always these are my notes and so if you have any thoughts these are always appreciated so please let me know.
