Life behind the scenes at The Torridon in the Scottish Highlands

From the Whisky Bar: Bladnoch 18 Year Old

Bladnoch is a favourite distillery of mine. Generally I would write up a tasting on a malt whisky that is new to the bar but this time I though I would try the 18 year old Bladnoch which is, at least, new to me.

I found it be very light and not what I expected. It reminded me more of a Speyside with a few small Highland characteristics.

Colleen’s tasting notes:
Nose: Fruity, lemon notes coming through
Palate: Malt and honey
Finish: Long and warming

As always these are my notes. If you have thoughts of your own, please let me know.
