Rosebank 12 years is one of the great malt whiskies we offer in The Torridon whisky bar and a fantastic drink for anyone who thinks they don’t like whisky. It is fresh and light and dispels any idea that whisky has to be rough or sore on the throat. Rosebank can be hard to find as the distillery was mothballed in the early 1990′s. Shame, considering it started life somewhere around the 1790′s.
Tasting notes: Rosebank 12 years Flora and Fauna range
Nose: Light floral and earthy to the nose
Palate: Very delicate with lots of sweet honey notes coming through
Finish: Light and short
This whisky is perfect for having with dessert. It is the equivalent of a good Sauternes.
