With family and friends watching, Robert and Bruce made their civil partnership official in a really touching and special ceremony. Rohaise and I were both delighted how warm and friendly the atmosphere was with some great readings from friends and special vows from the pair.
Everyone was amazed at the food and very complimentary to Bruno our chef; Robert had requested a twice backed souffle followed by Fillet of Scotch beef and then a trio of white chocolate desserts.
The meal was followed by some very funny and emotional speeches and Bruce even managed to get for Robert a special telegram from the pop queen herself, Kylie Minogue.
We have just let off some amazing fireworks and special lanterns that are now disappearing to the dark side of the moon.
I am writing this as the disco and ceilidh are in fill swing and believe me Robert and Bruce are leading the party!
