The winter has gone and now all of us at Torridon Activities have started to put away our crampons and ice axes and are now donning the shades and getting tan lines in those silly places that only outdoor kit can give you, and hasn’t the summer started off amazingly.
You would think I am talking about the weather and the weather has been amazing, but it gets better than that. Whilst out on one of popular kayaking trips on Loch Torridon we had a pod of Porpoises come and join us for the trip. The first sighting was their fins rising from the water and then we sat in the middle of a flat calm loch, shades on (vital) with the little Porpoises swimming and playing around us. Then to cap it of a couple of our local seals decided to come over and say hi.
